Roush unveils new versions of high-performance Mustangs

Roush is synonymous with go-fast Mustangs, and on Wednesday, the company unveiled its latest--and potentially greatest--steeds, based on the 2010 Ford Mustang. Roush will offer three versions at launch, topped by the 435-hp 427R Mustang. Prices will range from $34,847 for the Stage 1 model to a starting price of $43,051 for the 427R.

NHTSA investigates GM cars for possible brake light problems

Federal safety regulators are looking at three General Motors vehicles for potential brake light defects that could result in a recall of more than a million midsize vehicles. A Automotive News they were investigating an estimated 550,000 Pontiac G6s because of possible brake light malfunctions that could increase the chances of an accident. NHTSA said it had received 212 consumer complaints concerning brake light problems on 2005-09 modelG6s.

It’s starting to look as if the McLaren X-1 – revealed at Pebble Beach – could actually be the new McLaren F1 under the skin. We knew that McLaren were heading to Pebble Beach with a new car, and we thought it was going to be the new F1. In the end it turned out to be the McLaren X-1, but could the X-1 actually be the new F1 under the skin?
