Lamborghini Jota: Tease 3
Tue, 14 Sep 2010Lamborghini Jota Tease 3 I know, it’s getting boring already. The first tease we had on the Lamborghini Jota was back in June when Lamborghini sent a photo of the bonnet of a car and the catchy (and let’s not forget, original) tag line ‘Coming Soon…’. That was followed up just over a week ago with another blindingly helpful photo of the Lamborghini Jota – this time of a tail light and a bit of carbon fibre.
Renault to unveil Alpine-branded concept car at Monaco GP
Tue, 22 May 2012Renault is set to unveil an Alpine-branded concept car at this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix. The A110-50 – so named to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the oh-so-pretty A110 rally car – is clearly a development of the 2010 DeZir concept car although with only one leaked image to analyze, it's difficult to know by what amount it has changed. Clearly it has been subjected to the addition of a myriad of additional details, surfaces, inlets, outlets and various pieces of racing addenda however that, on the little evidence we have, appear to have added drama to the detriment of the refreshingly non-aggressive nature of the DeZir.
Bloodhound SSC (2010) at Farnborough air show
Mon, 19 Jul 2010Project Bloodhound today unveiled the new SSC record-breaker-to-be at the 2010 Farnborough International Air Show. It's an apt show debut for the SSC, with its 1000mph target land speed. So this is the real Bloodhound SSC?Not quite yet. This is the first full-scale model, so don't expect any burn-outs or high-speed tests at the Farnborough runway.
