Avant8/6 Front Fender Extender Splash/Mud Guard for F800GS & F650GS Twin by MachineartMoto

The NEW, unique MudSling AVANT 8 beautifully adds front fender length for superior mud, tar, and rock splash back control WITHOUT HAVING TO DRILL HOLES in your fender to mount it. Protect YOU and the underside of your bike from debris deflected from your front wheel. The Avant 8 protects your legs, feet, engine case, oil filter and exhaust headers from water, road grime, rocks and mud.

It's easy to install with 3 AVANT screw mounts that securely grip the underside of the fender. Injection molded in a resilient plastic resin, it exactly matches the texture of the stock fender, and the angled wings provide wide coverage without looking wide. All other fender extensions are crude in comparison. As an added bonus, if you get a new F800GS Twin you can move the fender extender to your new bike and you will not leave any unsitely drill holes behind.

Features:

* Fits all 2008-2013 BMW F800GS &F650GS Twin
* Easy, no drill installation
* Adds 5.25 inches in length for superior water, rock, mud and tar deflection
* Provides wide protection coverage, but looks slim

Customer Feedback:

"I got the part BMW forgot. Perfect fit and finish. Easy install too. If you plan on taking your 800 off pavement, you'll want one. Plenty of clearance for knobs. Bolts up using existing threads, no drilling. Very well thought out."

"It is a custom fit and went on in about 2 minutes. Perfect fit and looks like it belongs there."

"Great fit, 5 minute install. I think this is one of those "must have" mods. When you compare the benefit to cost ratio, this is up there with HID's."

"I've had my MudSling on now for a couple of weeks. Just rode down to Key West and back in POURING down rain. Works as advertised. Definitely kept a lot of the crap off my rear shock, etc. Easy to install, looks good. A little pricey, but worth it IMHO."

"Just got a mudsling today and installed it. What a well made and nicely packaged piece. I was very impressed."

Fiat has turned to Catrinel Menghia once again to get red-blooded males to give the convertible Abarth 500 – the Fiat 500C Abarth – a bit of attention. Fiat are Italian, and Italians love women. And Fiat, in particular, loves Catrinel Menghia (even if she is Romanian), so they’ve turned to the delightful assets of Ms Menghia once again to promote their cars.

Opel Insignia Sports Tourer wagon spotted near GM's proving grounds

Wed, 17 Oct 2012

Just like my parents used to say, “You can't get anything by us, we have eyes everywhere.” Ominous threats aside, GM's European unit Opel tried to sneak an Insignia Sports Tourer station wagon onto the roads of Michigan. Luckily our roving eyes spotted the car--complete with turbo badges--and sent some photos back to the mothership. A wagon version of the European sedan has been spotted on Michigan roads before.
