The Porsche Panamera V6 will debut in April at the Beijing Motor Show A year on from the launch of the Porsche Panamera in China last year, Porsche has revealed that the Porsche Panamera V6 will join the Panamera lineup and – in yet another sign of the importance of the Chinese market – will be revealed at the Beijing Motor Show in April. The Panamera V6 comes with either rear wheel drive – the Porsche Panamera – or 4WD – the Porsche Panamera 4 – and gets a new 3.6 litre V6 petrol lump producing 300bhp and 295lb/ft of torque. Fitted with Porsche’s PDK ‘box both models get stop/start to trim emissions and improve economy.

Hyundai debuted its Hexa Space concept at the Delhi Auto Expo, where its claimed this design revolutionizes the use of interior space. Externally, the Hexa Space evolves Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture design language. While its lower body is reminiscent of last year's Curb concept, the more angular surface treatment marks a new direction for the brand.

CDN and GM launch new interactive competition for students in North America

Car Design News is pleased to announce the launch of this year's Car Design News-GM interactive design competition, a collaboration with GM and our partners, Alcantara, CGT, Pace and SRG Global. GM is offering five students a paid internship (with housing included) at its studios in Warren, Michigan. 
One winner will be picked from each brand (Buick, Chevrolet, Cadillac and GMC) 
and one additional overall winner will also be chosen by the judges.
