Infiniti G37 to sell alongside its Q50 replacement until 2015 model year

Infiniti has announced that the G37 sedan, which has been with us for a while, will continue alongside the all-new Q50 sedan until the 2015 model year. The 2014 Q50, ostensibly the G37's replacement, will go on sale later this week, though to keep things rolling along, Infiniti will be slashing prices on the two versions of the G37 which will continue on: the G37 Journey and the G37 Sedan AWD. The rear-wheel drive Infiniti G37 will now start at $33,455, down from $38,225, and the all-wheel drive G37 will now start at $35,055.

Jaguar to invest £200 million in F-Type production at Castle Bromwich

Jaguar F-Type - to be built at an expanded Castle Bromwich Jaguar Land Rover are planning to invest £200 million expanding their Castle Bromwich plant to launch production of the new Jaguar F-Type. Jaguar Land Rover has revived sales across both the Jaguar and Land Rover ranges, but it’s Land Rover that’s driving sales – particularly with the new Evoque. JLR are seeking to emulate the enormous success the Evoque is enjoying at Land Rover by launching the new F-Type at Jaguar, and are planning to invest £200 million expanding the Castle Bromwich plant to make sure the Jaguar F-Type doesn’t suffer production problems.

COMPANY CAR drivers are far more likely to exceed the 70mph motorway speed limit than private motorists, according to an RAC survey. As many as 88% of those behind the wheel in firms' vehicles regularly exceed the limit compared with 67% of private motorists. Also, 62% of company of company car drivers said they reached speeds of 80mph on motorways, almost double that of regular motorists (32%).
