This auction is for (14) new Windshield Reveal Molding Clips, (4) new longer style Windshield Reveal Molding Clips, and 3 Special Stud Screws (as pictured) -- the stud screws are in case the factory rivet is damaged or missing, all you do is drill a pilot hole, then screw the Special Stud Screw in, then pop the molding clip in, these are a life saver! - these molding clips secure the trim up against the glass -- these work really awesome, nice and tight, brand new - any car restorer and/or car/truck builders will need these for sure! Most cars only need a few replaced during restoration, so this amount will likely be more than enough, so hopefully there will be some left over. Goodwood Moving Motor Show
Thu, 01 Jul 2010Now in its 18th year, the UK's Goodwood Festival of Speed (which runs over the coming weekend of the 2 to 4 July) this year adds an extra day prior to the main event, billed as the Moving Motor Show. Designed partially as a replacement for the British Motor Show, which was last held at London's Excel exhibition centre in 2008, the Moving Motor Show allows some 2000 members of the public to drive recent new cars from 22 manufacturers up Goodwood's famous hill climb course. This development fits well with recent trends.
2011 Audi R8 GT, an AW first look
Sun, 02 May 2010Three years after it burst onto the supercar scene, Audi has unveiled a hard-core version of its R8 called the GT. Based on the existing mid-engine R8 V10 and incorporating aerodynamic, weight-saving and mechanical developments used by the company's R8 LMS GT3 race car, Ingolstadt will build just 333 copies of the new 560-hp four-wheel-drive performance flagship. Pricing has not yet been revealed, but given the extent of the changes to the new two-seater, buyers should expect a hefty premium over the R8 V10's $147,000 price tag when the GT goes on sale in North America.
