Beaulieu Sets Its Sights On A World Record Attempt
Mon, 10 Feb 2014IT MIGHT be best known for its collection of weird, wonderful and historically significant cars, but the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu is now reaching out to anyone with an interest in toy cars. As part of its bid to break the current world record for the longest line of toy cars, Beaulieu is asking for donations in order to topple the current record of 9,795, set in Guatemala last December. The attempt will be held in the grounds of the attraction with a continuous line, one kilometre long, of at least 10,000 cars placed end to end, starting and finishing inside the museum.
OFFICIAL: 2014 BMW 2 Series
Fri, 25 Oct 2013OFFICIAL: 2014 BMW 2 Series The new BMW 2 Series has been leaking like a sieve for the last week or so, so BMW must be relieved it’s now official and out in the open. Much of the detail we’ve already reported is confirmed with the official reveal, and we already know what the 2 Series looks like thanks to the official photos leaking yesterday, , but now we know which models are going to be rolling in to BMW’s UK showrooms in early 2014. There will be three 2-Series models available at launch – the 220i, 220d and M235i – which will cost £25,040, £25,868 and £34,250 respectively, with a choice of four trim levels - SE, Sport Modern and M Sport.

Tue, 03 Aug 2010Just when it seems as if all we are hearing about are Chevrolet Volts and Nissan Leafs (Leaves?), turns out thieves still love their performance cars and monstrous SUVs and trucks. The Cadillac Escalade remains the most stolen car in the United States, according to the Highway Loss Data Institute. The 'Sclade was followed by the Ford F250 pickup, the Infiniti G37, the Hemi Dodge Charger (not the V6 though!) and the Chevrolet Corvette Z06.
