The AutoWeek list: Foolish cars we should never have bought, but did
Wed, 01 Apr 20092001 Pontiac Aztek Our take: The most recent black eye to the General's style department. A car equivalent of the ubiquitous camel design, put together by a committee whose members obviously didn't speak to each other. 1999 Isuzu VehiCROSS Our take: We don't doubt this Japanese ute's off-road prowess, but its goggle-eye front and corrugated steel door ripples were enormous design miscues.
New Ford Kuga production increased to meet strong demand
Thu, 04 Apr 2013Ford has revealed that it having to increase production of the new Kuga by 10 per cent at its Valencia Plant to meet strong demand. We reported in February that Ford were chuffed with sales of the new Kuga - especially as almost all buyers were opting for ‘premium’ versions – with orders for almost 2,000 in the UK just weeks after the Kuga went in to production in Spain, and sales across Europe for the Kuga up 27 per cent year on year. So Ford is now doing the only thing they can to deal with the burgeoning sales of the Kuga and are upping production in Valencia by 10 per cent, and now expect to build 100,000 new Kugas this year for Europe alone.
Lamborghini V12 Parade Sant’Agata Bolognese +video
Sat, 27 Nov 2010Lamborghini V12 Parade at Sant'Agata Bolognese Back at the start of November we reported that Lamborghini were celebrating the end of the Murcielago after almost a decade of V12 goodness from Sant’Agata’s finest. Which was a bit of an odd time to celebrate, we thought, especially as Murcielago 4099 rolled of the line back in May. But the news – it transpires – was timed to coincide with a parade of the finest V12 Lamborghinis around Sant’Agata Bolognese to celebrate Lamborghini’s finest creations.
