Sources: GM in talks with two potential buyers of Hummer
Thu, 12 Feb 2009General Motors is in talks with two potential buyers of its Hummer brand as the automaker continues to sell assets to raise cash, said two sources familiar with the matter. The negotiations are with a private-equity firm and a Chinese company, said the sources, who declined to be named. The sources declined to name the potential buyers because the effort is private.
Paul Walker to be recreated through CGI for 'Fast & Furious 7'
Mon, 24 Mar 2014Paul Walker's character will make an appearance in the next "Fast & Furious" film thanks to scenes filmed before his death and computer-generated doubles of the actor. Several sources are reporting that at least four body doubles of Walker have also been involved in the film's ongoing production since filming resumed in late January, after several weeks of evaluations and rewrites by the studio. Approximately half of the photography involving Walker's character, Brian O'Conner, had been shot at the time of Walker's death in Porsche Carrera GT alongside Roger Rodas, his friend and business partner, over Thanksgiving weekend in November of 2013.
Owners claim Ford V6 EcoBoost engine defects
Thu, 16 May 2013Ford Motor Co. is being sued by three vehicle owners in Ohio because of alleged defects in the automaker's six-cylinder EcoBoost engine. According to the lawsuit, the 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine "contained serious latent design, manufacturing, or assembly defects" that cause vehicles to shake, misfire and rapidly lose power.
