We've all read about armored BMW and Mercedes-Benz cars, and a few of us can even spot them in traffic, but there are plenty of armored options for slightly less flash transportation. Large German sedans make great platforms for armoring, and are one of the most popular choices in countries where there is a need for that sort of thing, but they're far from being the only sedans that can offer security-minded customers the relative peace of mind that comes with ownership of such a car. The 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Petrolheads on this side of the Pond know what a Mustang is, even if we don’t exactly covet it. But it’s one thing not really coveting a 2011 V6 Mustang – even if it is much improved on the last version – but it’s quite another to ignore the ‘Super’ Mustang know as the Boss. Ford has announced the Ford Mustang Boss 302 for 2012, and they’re claiming they’ve used the M3 as a benchmark for handling.

Aston Martin One-77 – in the flesh

The completed Aston Martin One-77 revealed at the Concorso d’Eleganza at Villa d’Este But as we told you the other day, Aston Martin decided that the perfect place to show an ostensibly finished One-77 was the Concorso d’Eleganza at Villa d’Este. Which, if it hadn’t rained (which thankfully it didn’t the whole time) would have been idyllic (actually, we had heard on the grapevine that Aston Martin had agreed that the first showing would be at this year’s Salon Prive at the Hurlingham Club in Fulham – glad we didn’t run that as a story!). I have to say the Aston Martin One-77 does look as glorious in the flesh as we hoped.
