How We Care:

Leak & Function Test:

·         Using 150 psi of compressed air, the compressor is tested under water for 15 minutes minimum.

·         2 oz. of PAG oil are added to the compressor and the compressor is mounted on an electric motor in order to test for high and low pressures.

Paint:

·         NO paint is applied!

Final Assembly:

·        The clutch hub is tested in order to ensure proper spacing between the hub and pulley for compressor to engage and disengage accordingly.

·         The compressor is then shrink wrapped and boxed for shipping.

PLUGS/SENSORS & MANIFOLDS:

Let us know if you do not have the original compressor on your vehicle. On some units you will need to use the original coil plugs or sensors, connectors & manifolds. There are many different types of plugs on the coil connections. Most of the time, you will have to use the original plug from your unit.

Warranty:

All used compressors are backed WITHOUT warranty. If you receive a malfunctioning compressor we WILL NOT replace the compressor nor give you your money back after 14-days return policy!

Important:

When replacing an A/C Compressor, we strongly recommend that the following steps are taken to ensure that the compressor does not malfunction or is damaged:

·         Flush the system

·         Add the correct amount of refrigerant oil (e.g. PAG 46, 100, 150)

·         Replace the Accumulator or Drier

·         Replace the Condenser (if required)

·         Replace Expansion Valve or Orifice Tube

**FAILURE TO DO THE ABOVE MAY CAUSE SYSTEM FAILURE**

Sun, 03 Nov 2013

THREE QUARTERS of drivers say they are concerned about new technology that automatically changes the speed of a car. These Intelligent Speed Adaptation (ISA) systems are designed to force cars to drive within the speed limit and can automatically reduce a car’s speed without the driver’s input. The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) says 75% of drivers it asked thought ISA systems would compromise safety, while 78% did not want to see this technology retro-fitted to older cars.
