The £124,900 Nissan GT-R SpecV for the UK It’s almost a year since Nissan announced the GT-R SpecV for the Japanese market – and ten months since it went on sale – but they’ve just announced a limited run of Nissan GT-R SpecV for the UK and European markets. Just 40 will be produced at a slightly pricey £124,900 – more than twice the price of the Standard Nissan GT-R. Pebble Beach Concours: Best in Show goes to 1934 Voisin C-25 Aerodyne

Peter Mullin, who has about the most beautiful collection of pieces from the art deco movement in the world, now has one more item to add to his collection, the trophy that goes to the Best in Show at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. His 1934 Voisin C-25 Aerodyne took the prize on Sunday. Mullin has 15 Voisins in his collection, in addition to numerous Bugattis, Talbot Lagos and Delahayes.

UK car production down 20%

CAR PRODUCTION slowed a little last month, according to official figures. A total of 133,730 cars were made in the UK in February - 2.7% fewer than in February 2013, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said. Cars made for the export market rose 3.5% last month, but manufacturing for the home market was down 20.8%.
