This is a USED Fuel Filter Housing for a Chevy/GMC 6.5L Diesel engine.
It typically mounts on the back of the intake manifold.

This is a 300 watt HEATED fuel filter with a Temperature sensor.

The computer senses the fuel temperature inside the filter housing and turns on the heater in freezing temperatures.

Also it could be used for veggie oil heating if you are running veggie.
But you would have to rewire the heater.
You could turn the heater on manually with a switch on the dashboard.
