This is a fuel filter mounting bracket that was removed from a 1988 Mustang. The little used fuel filter pictured is also included. Is a direct replacement for all 1985 through 1993 Mustangs, Mercury Capri models with EFI 5.0 V8,2.3 and 3.8 models with the electric fuel pump mounted inside the fuel tank. Located on underside of the body just above the rear axle assembly. Will come as pictured. The bracket and filter can be used in custom applications where an EFI system is being transplanted into a different vehicle. Bracket is in good useable condition and filter was only used for a short time. Some light surface rust on bracket see picture. The new 2.0 and 2.2-litre diesels feature a third generation common rail system with piezo-electric injectors to deliver fuel at 1800-bar. Fitted with a particulate trap as standard, the 2.0-litre unit develops 181bhp and 289lb ft, while the bigger 2.2-litre unit pumps out 197bhp and 335lb ft of torque.
