VW GT Up - looks like it's on its way We got the reveal of Volkswagen’s new small city car – the VW up! – at Frankfurt in September, and we also got all the details for the UK VW Up last month. And now we get an odd bit of information coming in from Volkswagen on the VW GT up!

2014 Geneva Motor Show preview

The 2014 Geneva Motor Show opens its doors on 4 March and it will be a showcase for all that the world’s car makers have to offer. Some major new cars will make their public debut at the show, including the Audi TT, BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, Ferrari California and Renault Twingo, all of which will be on sale by the end of 2014. There’ll be plenty of concept cars on display, too: some will be outlandish visions of the future, but others – including the Skoda Vision C – will hint at production models that will be on sale soon.

GMC Granite concept (w/ Video)

The biggest surprise at the 2010 NAIAS was GMC's Granite concept - a design that expands (or rather contracts) the truck/crossover brand's 'professional grade' philosophy to a compact hatchback aimed at urban hipsters and early adopters. Conceived by Frank Saucedo's Advanced Design team in California and then built at GM's Design Center in Detroit, the Granite combines the basic proportions of the Nissan Cube and Scion xB with a military/industrial feel inspired by the current G-Star and Diesel fashion lines.
