The visor can be raised if the motorcycle rider is blinded by the sun.  The visor cannot be removed.

Color silver.  Size small only.  We do not have size medium or large.

Shipping is limited to the continental US only.  No shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam or Puerto Rico.  No international shipping.  We ship double boxed to ensure that the helmet gets to you undamaged.

MEASURING YOUR HEAD: A cloth tape may be used to make your measurement. To get a more accurate measurement, have someone else do the measuring. The circumference of the head should be measured at the largest point (usually a point approximately one inch above the eyebrows). If you are between sizes go to the next larger size. Also people with oblong heads need the next larger size. Helmet should be snug, but not uncomfortable. If you get the wrong helmet size, return the helmet and we will PayPal you a refund.

Video: Michael Mauer on the 991-series Porsche 911

Tue, 08 May 2012

Porsche has released a video featuring its Design Director, Michael Mauer, explaining how he and his team went about redesigning the 911, an ‘automotive, engineering icon' as he describes it. "What we as designers are striving to above all is to optimize the width to height ratio with the result that although the 911's width has not increased, the front axle area has become wider, and we've managed to make the roof a bit lower," Mauer explains via a rather dramatic-sounding voiceover.

Mazda CX-5 is born from the Mazda Minagi Concept

Mazda CX-5 - the Mazda compact SUV Back at the Geneva Motor Show this year Mazda pitched up with the oddly named Mazda Minagi Concept, a compact SUV which we said would arrive in showrooms as the Mazda CX-5. And it is. Mazda has announced that the CX-5 will be going in to production and that we will be seeing a production-ready version at Frankfurt in September, which suggests that the CX-5 will be in a showroom near you in early 2012.

Liberal Petrolhead. Oxymoron? Not any more

Wed, 25 Aug 2010

Vince Cable gets behind the wheel of an Aston Martin DBS With the Liberal / Conservative coalition now in charge we seem to have got a Government where a big chunk of the ministers are Liberals (is there a Liberal MP without a portfolio of some description?). Which I suppose is the price we pay for allowing the Conservatives to become Labour Lite instead of having real conviction politicians. Still, it throws up some interesting conflicts.
