Aston Martin Rapide at the Frankfurt motor show

Wed, 15 Apr 2009

Aston Martin Rapide (2009) first pictures By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 15 April 2009 00:01 Aston Martin is clearly wringing the launch of the new Rapide saloon for all its worth. This is the second batch of ‘first official photos’ of the new four-door from Gaydon – and it’s still only a tease of new information with a single image and a handful of nuggets of information. Today’s announcement does confirm a few new details about the Rapide, which was first shown in concept guise at the 2006 Detroit auto show.

Mercedes C-class (2014) first official pictures

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

By Damion Smy First Official Pictures 16 December 2013 09:00 This is the new Mercedes C-class that goes on sale in spring, 2014. With a full reveal in the metal at the Detroit show in January, the C-class is Mercedes’ biggest selling car, so an all-new model has to be good – or else. Everything.

McLaren P1 driven by Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson (video)

Fri, 11 Oct 2013

McLaren P1 driven by Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson (pictured) It’s only a few days since McLaren revealed the first customer P1s are now rolling out of McLaren’s clinical production facility in Woking, and it looks like Jeremy Clarkson has bagged one to play with. The video (below) shows Clarkson behind the wheel of the new P1 which, judging by the number plate, is probably one of the first customer cars on the road. The opinionated one is preceded in the video by a pair of Range Rovers – one new, one old – at least one of which is a camera car, so this drive of the Mclaren P1 is obviously heading for a TV screen soon – hopefully on Top Gear.
