The GF505 is G-FORCE's most popular suit available in an SFI-5 rating. They ask any driver to compare the 505 suit to the competitors. This suit goes above and beyond what you have come to expect from an entry-level multi-layer suit. Comes with standard epaulets, matching Nomex cufffs, arm stripes, and a large chest billboard with contrasting piping.  All with white stripes across the chest and down the arms.

All seams are Safety Stitched to help limit seam failure. The interior of the 505 suit is lined with the world renowned CoolQuilt liner. Dry = Cool and this liner keeps you dry. The built in Abzorb-A-Line draws the moisture from the body and keeps the driver's body temperature down. Never before, has your average weekend racer been able to so easily afford a suit with a TPP near 30. The days of a racer pinching pennies on his driver suits are over.

Pyrovatex® was developed in the 1960's as a durable flame retardant for cellulosic (cotton) fibers. Pyrovatex® offers the maximum combination of overall flame and heat protection, durability, and comfort for the price. This FRC material retains the softness and breathability of cotton and will wick away moisture from the skin. Pyrovatex® fabric is gentle and non-irritating to even the most sensitive skin. The treatment process leaves the exterior surface "shiny" and supple. Since the Pyrovatex® treatment is bonded to the cotton fibers at the molecular level, with proper care; the garment will retain its flame retardant properties beyond the useful life of the garment.

Volkswagen debuts Jetta TDI Value Edition

Thu, 09 Jan 2014

There was already a lot to like about the diesel Volkswagen Jetta TDI CleanDiesel, most of it having to do with fewer fillups, and so for 2014 Volkswagen is debuting a new Jetta TDI Value Edition that slices more than $2,000 off the price of entry. And speaking of the price of entry, it is now $22,115 for Volkswagen's smallest diesel sedan in the U.S. Yes, it seems Volkswagen has finally created a car for automotive journalists as well as members of the biodiesel-brewing crowd who are tired of fixing old Mercedes-Benz W123 station wagons from the 1970s, though we probably have the diesel Chevrolet Cruze to thank for the appearance of this particular model.

Bentley planning big model expansion

Thu, 24 Jul 2014

It looks like the last Bentley Brooklands (pictured) will not be the last after all We already know that the Bentley SUV is on the way shortly to take on the might of the new Range Rover, and it seems certain there’s about to be Bentley Mulsanne Speed as Bentley rolls out its ‘Speed’ moniker to its most prestigious car. But there’s more to come. When we reported the Mulsanne Speed was on its way last week, we noted that if Bentley were adding a Speed version of the Mulsanne to their range to expand it then it surely made sense to launch a Mulsanne Coupe and Convertible too.
