These G-FORCE GF105 driving jackets are high-quality, entry-level jackets for the budget-minded racer. However, budget does not mean cheap. They start with an FR cotton shell that is cool and comfortable to wear. All seams are sewn together with Nomex thread utilizing a five-needle safety stitch. This is an extra bit of protection in the event that the main seam fails in an incident. These jackets also combine a Nomex and brass zipper with a double overlay for extra protection. Nomex cuffs and full Nomex neck closure help keep the heat out. These jackets meet or exceed SFI 3.2A/1 specs. They have a TPP rating of approximately 11. USED CAR buyer confidence is unlikely to improve significantly in 2011, meaning that demand for safety net products such as extended warranties will remain strong, says RAC Warranty. For those of you who haven't yet attended, Art Center's Car Classic is rapidly becoming the talk of the concours circuit. Held during the middle of the summer trimester at the main Hillside campus in Pasadena, it was started just three years ago and is gaining quite a following not only because of its intimate setting in which to admire the cars but also because attendees rub shoulder-to-shoulder with a variety of current and past industry designers and celebrities. To this fellow automotive enthusiast and Art Center alumnus at least, the Car Classic likens itself most to Lord March's Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival in the UK.

Porsche celebrates 2 million Facebook fans with museum car

Porsche hit 2 million friends on Facebook this week, and to celebrate, the company dedicated a car to all of them. The new Porsche Cayman S got a coat of white paint before each friend's profile picture was digitally added to the surface. They're all tinted in red, giving the car a candy-coated look, and the front-plate area reads "100% Porsche, 100% you." Fans also were asked to vote for their favorite historic racing livery.
