 The award-winning GTex construction that has been used in all G-FORCE Racing Gear suits has been utilized to manufacture G-FORCE GF125 driving jackets at specs that exceed SFI 3.2A/1. The SFI 3.2A/1 tag is included and has been relocated to the left arm cuff so that tech inspectors can easily see the certification. The single-layer G-FORCE GF125 jackets are made with Pyrovatex fabric to achieve a TPP rating of near 10. The clean color styles of GF125 jackets give a finished look to attract both fans and potential sponsors. The shoulders of the jackets come accented with straight, black epaulets. These give a crisp edge to the apex of the shoulder line so that you portray the consummate racer.

 Volvo Car Corporation has appointed British designer Steve Mattin as Vice President and Design Director, who joins the company on 1 May following a long career at DaimlerChrysler, where he is currently Senior Design Manager with several major design projects under his responsibility. Steve Mattin is well respected in the automotive design community, and has a real passion for premium cars, which he has proved during his 17 years at DaimlerChrysler. Steve will report to Volvo Cars President and CEO, Hans-Olov Olsson as well as J Mays, group vice president of Design and Chief Creative Officer of Ford Motor Company.

Lexus ES sedan production coming to Kentucky

Toyota Motor Corp. plans to invest $360 million to bring production of the Lexus ES sedan to Kentucky, making it the first model from Toyota's premium brand to be built in the United States as the carmaker pushes to localize more manufacturing. Under the plan announced Friday in New York by CEO Akio Toyoda, Toyota will boost annual capacity at its Georgetown, Ky., plant by 50,000 vehicles to accommodate ES output.
