OVERVIEW2-2033-589 G2’s line of Performance Series ring and pinions are engineered and manufactured to handle the increased loads of today’s performance vehicles. They are forged from 8620 steel to set a strong foundation, then precision-machined to OE specifications using the latest manufacturing techniques and state-of-the-art equipment. These tight tolerances ensure that they will be easy to set up and keep the noise level at OE specs. Next, the gears are heat treated for added durability to endure the harsh environments of a daily-driven vehicle. Finally, they are lapped to give the mating surface a smooth finish to reduce friction that can lead to noise and excessive wear. Mon, 23 May 2011Gooding & Co. is set to auction what it claims is "America's most elegant automobile," a 1931 Duesenberg Model J by Murphy, at the company's 2011 Pebble Beach auction in August. Not to be confused with any run-of-the-mill Duesenberg Model J, this particular car is known as the Whittell Coupe after its owner, California playboy Captain George Whittell Jr.

Toyota prices the new GT 86 RWD coupe at £25k

Some speculation had suggested the price might soar nearer £30k on account of the unfavourable yen exchange rate. But Toyota GB today confirmed the GT 86 will start at £24,995.
