This is a communication control panel used on various types of commercial aircraft. This one was removed during tear down and has been in storage since. It is in good condition without damage to the housing or connector. All controls are in place and move easily as well. The data plate reads GABLES ENGINEERING G-2141. It appears the next generation Land Rover Discovery is set to shed even more weight that the latest 2013 Range Rover. We know that Land Rover are on a quest to reduce the weight of their offerings, and the all aluminium 2013 Range Rover is the first real evidence with weight drops of up to 420kg for the new 3.0 litre diesel. But it looks like the next generation Land Rover Discovery – which is due in 2014 and will be the Discovery 5 – is going to eclipse even the huge weight loss of the new Range Rover.

The new Jaguar F-Type Coupe’s curves With the real F-Type about to be revealed in Los Angeles – the Jaguar F-Type Coupe – Jaguar has already started garnering interest with the first teaser photo of the F-Type Coupe. That photo showed a birds-eye view of the new F-Type Coupe – complete with panoramic glass roof – but this time Jaguar has revealed what could be the money shot – the view from the rear three quarters looking along the side of the new F-Type and highlighting its curves. It’s a view that is reminiscent of the same angle on the E-Type – no bad thing – even if we don’t expect the F-Type Coupe to keep the E-Type’s side-hinged rear hatch we saw on the C-X16 Concept.

Fiat 500 Abarth gets automatic transmission option for 2015

If you're a fan of the design (and the performance numbers) of the Fiat 500 Abarth and its cabriolet version but not its manual transmission, you'll want to hear this. Fiat has announced that the 2015 Fiat 500 Abarth and Abarth Cabrio will be offered with an optional six-speed automatic transmission in addition to a slightly redesigned interior. The new models will appear at the New York auto show next week.
