This is a VHF control panel used on various types of aircraft. This one was removed during tear down and has been in storage since. It is in good condition without damage to the housing or connector. The display is not cracked and controls move easily. The data tag reads GABLES ENGINEERING, PART NO. G-304-03. It is not tagged and I have no way to test it so it is being listed AS IS. Vintage Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin will be on display at London concours

Two icons of British car lore, a 1928 Rolls-Royce and a 1950 Aston Martin, will be on display at a concours event July 21-24 in London. The cars are being shown at Salon Prive, a supercar and concours gathering next week in advance of RM auctions’ sale in October. While the auction could get pricey with competitive bidding, Salon Prive will offer fans of British cars an opportunity to simply soak in these storied rides.

Aston Martin are taking the Vanquish, V12 Zagato and V12 Vantage Roadster on a PR tour of European Aston Martin dealers. For a car company with limited technical resources, one platform and two engines, Aston Martin are making a pretty good fist of launching new models. We’ve recently had the launch of the Aston Martin Vanquish – successor to the DBS – with a harder edge and a bigger price tag, the V12 Vantage Roadster with the glorious V12 where it should be – in the front of an open-topped car for aural joy – and the V12 Zagat0, a limited run collaboration with Zagato at three times the price of the donor car.

Lexus GS Coupe planned for 2013 We do have a habit of complaining that Lexus cars have a paucity of appeal in the driving and styling departments, but maybe plans for a new Lexus GS Coupe will change our minds. It looks as though Lexus are looking seriously at adding coupes in to their range, at least according to Lexus Product Planning Manager Ben J. Mitchell, who confessed as much in conversation with Inside Line.
