This is a VHF control panel used on various types of aircraft. This one was removed during tear down and has been in storage since. It is in good condition without damage to the housing or connector. The display is not cracked and controls move easily. The data tag reads GABLES ENGINEERING, PART NO. G-304-03. It is not tagged and I have no way to test it so it is being listed AS IS. McLaren owner Irv Kessler hadn’t used the F1 for 6 months, but he probably wishes he hadn’t yesterday either.

The Maybach Zeppelin - an even bigger waste of money than the standard Maybach Maybach has not exactly been an unmitigated success for Mercedes. Conceived as a competitor for Rolls Royce, it does seem to have carved itself a niche, but probably not the one that Mercedes wanted. Perceived by most as a tarted-up S Class, and bought by the wealthy of the Playstation generation, rather than the Captains of Industry that Mercedes envisioned, the Maybach must be a loss-maker for Mercedes.
