The Kode9 coupé, as teased in a behind-the-scenes video, follows on from the Kode7 first shown in 2008 and, if the video is any indication, this voluminous, 1960s-inspired creation will continue that car's attention to delightful detail. This sleek two door coupe concept, unveiled at the 2013 Villa d'Este Concourso d'Eleganza on Italy's Lake Como shores, could provide the stylistic inspiration for a BMW 8-series return. The Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe is a contemporary four seater created in cooperation between BMW's in-house design team headed by Karim Habib and famed Italian design house Pininfarina. The car is based on a modified rear-drive BMW 7-series platform and uses the 760i's 6.0-liter, 536-hp turbo V12 for power.

Hyundai Intrado revealed before Geneva

The Hyundai Intrado crossover debuts next week at the Geneva motor show, but the company revealed some pictures and information about the car on Monday. The Intrado is the first concept produced under the direction of Peter Schreyer, who became Hyundai president and chief design officer last January. Hyundai says the Intrado demonstrates the company's belief that advanced vehicle technologies and intelligent design can combine to engage with drivers and passengers.
