The Korean brand insists its new people carrier will not only be able to transport eight passengers but also serve “as a purposeful offering for adventure seekers”. Why the new 2014 Kia Sportage moves the crossover goalposts Kia Soul review (2014 onwards) We don’t think lifestyle types will be trading in their SUVs too soon, but the people carrier is likely to be bigger than the seven-seater Carens, making it potentially a rival to the likes of the Ford Grand Tourneo Connect. But finally we got confirmation from Jaguar that the XF Estate is actually going to happen and Jaguar’s designer, Ian Callum saying the Estate would arrive as the Jaguar XF Sportbrake. But we still had no idea exactly when Jaguar would get round to actually launching the XF Sportbrake.
New Nissan Juke explodes in to view (sort of)
Tue, 25 Feb 2014This, apparently, is the new Nissan Juke We’ve already seen a number of ‘teases’ for new cars due to debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show next month, and this afternoon it’s the turn of Nissan to tease the 2014 Juke facelift with a completely uninformative teaser image. The Nissan Juke – revealed four year ago at the Geneva Motor Show after a preview as the Nissan Qazana Concept the year before - brought Nissan’s funky compact crossover to the public’s attention and introduced a new ‘Ugly is Appealing’ look to mainstream motoring. But four years is a long time in the car world, and many other have tried to grab a piece of the Juke’s market place, so it’s time to give it a refresh with a facelifted version heading for Geneva next month.
