Galvanized Tailgate Chains Jeep Pickup Truck J10 J200 J3000 J300 J4000 J2000 on 2040-parts.com

Had a few of these sets of these made up as I was tired of the rusty flimsy chains on my pre-72 Jtrucks.   The hooks are  the same as stock, and should fit fine, however I did run into one truck that had smaller hooks and had to run a 3/8s drill through the holes.  The Chains are attached with a screw type connecting link which also allows you to adjust the length easily.

Two chains (about 19 inches long each) with hooks (3/8s inch diameter) attached  and Galvanized. they are 3/16 inch chain, with 1/4 inch galvanized screw links.  This gives you more than enough length.  The two different truck beds use slightly different lengths chain, but this kit allows you to use either. the screw link allows you to adjust to size and trim ( I use a bolt cutter)
two rubber sleeves, you may have to trim some off or just roll it up.

These chains are for the thrift side and step side Jeep truck beds and can be used for the early fleet side non step side with the early tailgate as well but you will have to mod them, like the j10, j200, j2000, j3000, j300, j4000. You can also use them on the M715, but the tailgate will not be as tight, See my other auctions for the larger chains which I recommend for the heavy m715 tailgate.  Of course will fit the many Chevy, Ford, Willys, International, military pickups and Dodge trucks.
