This hood, cowl came off my 15 hp gamefisher until it blew a head gasket.  This cowl is cracked and repaired with aluminum and rivets.  Please look at the photos to see if this is acceptable before bidding.  It is not pretty but it keeps the water off the motor.  This will fit a 15 hp gamefisher model number 217.586350 serial number 18362437 sears boat motor.  This motor was all white.  It may fit a 7.5 or 9.9 motor but I am not 100% certain. This motor blew a head gasket and I could not get the head bolts off without them breaking so I am parting the motor out.  Check out my other listings for more parts off this outboard.  All parts as is.  Please ask questions if you need clarification about this part.

Why aren’t Porsche 911 GT3 owners in the UK being compensated?

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

UK owners of the 911 GT3 aren’t getting compensation It does seem reasonable that if you buy a car you subsequently can’t use because of a design flaw, that the car maker pays you compensation for loss of use. So when Porsche ordered owners of the 911 GT3 to stop using their cars after a fire risk was revealed thanks to a faulty connector, it seemed certain owners would be in for some payback from Porsche. But despite offering US owners of the GT3 $2,000 a month for loss of use, up to $4,000 a month for those in the Middle East and €175 a day for German owners, UK owners of the GT3 aren’t getting a penny.

Toyota Prius Recall: 30,790 cars in the UK, 1.9 million worldwide recalled

Thu, 13 Feb 2014

The 3rd generation Toyota Prius (pictured) is being recalled Toyota’s hasn’t had a lot of luck with recalls in the last few years, although the latest recall for the Toyota Prius isn’t quite on the scale we’ve seen for previous recalls. It’s only eight months since the last Toyota Prius recall – which affected around 5,000 Prius models in the UK from 2009 – but this latest recall is a lot more extensive, affecting third generation Prius built from March 2009 to February 2014 and totalling 30,790 cars in the UK and 1.9 million worldwide. The issue is a problem with the hybrid system’s boost converter software, which is used when the car is under heavy load such as accelerating hard from a standstill.
