SsangYong SIV-1 Concept heading for Geneva
Mon, 11 Feb 2013Another new SsangYong Concept – the SsangYong SIV-1 – is heading for Geneva 2013 to join the new Rodius debut. SsangYong are heading to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with a new version of the Rodius, which we’re hoping (although not with too much confidence) will be a big improvement on the very challenging looks of the current car. The hope that SsangYong will manage to deliver a Rodius that doesn’t frighten small children is boosted today with the first photos of a new concept from the Indian-owned Korean car maker – the SsangYong SIV-1 Concept (pictured above) – which will arrive at Geneva alongside the new Rodius.

Thu, 23 Jul 2009The Subaru Impreza WRX STI Spec C launches in Japan today Subaru has today launched the Subaru Impreza WRX STI Spec C on to the Japanese market. Subaru are building just 900 Spec C cars which feature a number of improvements over the already available STI spec. Subaru has dropped the weight – by an undisclosed amount – by fitting a smaller battery, aluminium bonnet and laminar glass at the front and sides.
First Corvette Stingray Convertible sells for $1 million
Sun, 07 Apr 2013The first Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to be built has been auctioned for charity by Barrett Jackson and bought by Rick Hendrick for $1 million. The new Corvette Stingray Convertible was offered for sale this weekend at Barratt Jackson’s auction in Palm Beach, Florida, with GM donating the healthy proceeds of $1 million to the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute. The Stingray Convertible was bought by wealthy NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick, who can now add the Stingray Convertible to his collection of cars, which also includes the first of the new Stingrays for which he paid $1.1 million.
