Just removed from my plane in perfect working order. It receives XM weather and XM music plus it also receives traffic if you have a TIS capable transponder such as the Garmin 330 .

 

I had the unit affixed to the glare shield via RAM mount and running on ships power. That equipment is also included if you want it. Or use it with its own battery power. You can see that mount on the lower left of the photo.

 

Neat feature is you can disconnect the unit and take it with you and use the Streets Database in the car. Or take it home and practice with it connected to its cradle. Great for car rentals.
