Meguiar's condition improves to stable
Thu, 19 Aug 2010Avid car collector and TV host Barry Meguiar is in stable condition and his health is improving, according to a statement from Meguiar's Inc., the car-care-products company that bears his family name. Meguiar, 67, was hospitalized in Monterey, Calif., last weekend while attending the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, and on Wednesday, his condition was reported as serious. The company statement, released on Thursday afternoon, said Meguiar had contracted an undiagnosed virus recently while recording his TV show, "Car Crazy," outside the United States.
McLaren Automotive officially launches as the MP4-12C speeds toward production

The company held a grand opening at its base in Woking, England, to celebrate the progress and officially unveil the MP4-12C as it moves toward production. The estimated 592-hp supercar is expected to be exceptionally light and aerodynamic as the company takes aim at the best of Ferrari and Lamborghini.
Porsche Panameras recalled for seatbelt fix
Tue, 27 Apr 2010Porsche is recalling all 11,300 units of the 2010 Panamera to fix a problem with the front seatbelts. According to Porsche, the Panamera's seatbelt mounts could fail in a crash when the front seats are in the full forward position. No injuries have been reported.
