Garmin GPSMAP 295 aviation GPS for sale. Includes:
  • External antenna/cable
  • Yoke mount
  • Instrument panel/dash mount
  • Serial cable (for loading maps from computer)
  • DC charging cable ("cigarette lighter" type)
  • AC charging converter
  • Original manuals and booklets
  • Original case

This is a great little GPS! Powered off DC from an aircraft's "cigarette lighter" port, or by 6x AA batteries. Still updatable from Garmin database, to my knowledge.

I used this through much of my VFR flying in New England, and it's really handy for situational awareness and basic navigation. Programmable waypoints, flight paths, etc.

Gently used with light cosmetic scratches but otherwise in perfect shape.

BMW i3 Concept Coupe (2012) first photos

Wed, 28 Nov 2012

BMW has converted its i3 electric hatchback into a three-door. Munich might call it the new BMW i3 Concept Coupe, but essentially it's the hatch minus a pair of doors. Receiving its world debut at the 2012 Los Angeles auto show, which starts later today, the new BMW concept car is another spin-off from the Project i electric car family and proves that Munich plans a whole family of EVs when the range launches in 2013.

But the car that started the real Jaguar Renaissance was the Jaguar XF, and the halo version of that successful car is the 503bhp Jaguar XFR. So when Jaguar called and asked if we’d like a Jaguar XFR for a few days it would have been churlish to decline!

Maserati refreshes Quattroporte

Tue, 24 Jun 2008

By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 24 June 2008 08:51 Maserati has given its Quattroporte a mid-life refresh and a power boost. The new flagship Quattroporte S borrows the 424bhp 4.7-litre V8 from the GranTurismo S, while the standard Quattroporte retains the existing 393bhp 4.2-litre engine from before, with both hooked up to the ZF six-speed automatic transmission introduced two years ago. No, fortunately Maserati has decided not to tamper with the Quattroporte’s styling – five years and 15,000 sales from launch and the Pininfarina-penned saloon still looks superb.
