Tue, 04 Mar 2014FORD’S new Focus might have already seen the light of day, but now that the car has been given its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show the Blue Oval has released more details on its family favourite. Aside from the enhanced exterior design, key to the car’s revamp is a new suite of in-car electronics to keep you safe and entertained. The main attraction is a new version of the car maker’s Sync 2 telematics system boasting intelligent sat-nav, advanced voice control, integrated music player features and an intuitive colour touchscreen.
Toyota Yaris Trend & Yaris Edition launched
Wed, 08 Aug 2012Toyota has launched a pair of special editions for summer – the Yaris Trend and Yaris Edition – with cosmetic tweaks. Not content with flogging 100 units of the Toyota Yaris Hybrid to Europcar, Toyota are intent on mopping up more sales with the launch of a couple of special editions – the Toyota Yaris Edition and Toyota Yaris Trend. Both special editions get a blacked-out C-Pillar and privacy glass to give the illusion of a floating roof, a choice of Tyrol Silver or Cirrus White paint and a three or five-door body.
Mini Vision concept: what does it say about the brand's future?
Thu, 01 Aug 2013The sight of Mini design head Anders Warming presenting a holographic, 3D projection of the Mini Vision concept as if appearing in his own cartoon was certainly a new one on us, but it captured the quirky, slightly left-field image the subsidiary of BMW Group has cultivated since its relaunch 13 years ago. As the 'Vision' tag suggests, this is billed as a marker of intent for the brand's future design direction rather than a pre-production teaser of the new Mini hatchback (Cooper in most markets) we'll see later this year. However if the third-generation 'new' Mini doesn't look remarkably similar we'd be amazed, such is the level of productionized detailing on this purely digital model.
