      The Panel Dock™ is designed to fit the Garmin GPSMap 196, 296, 396, 495 and 496 handheld GPS units. The GPS is held firmly in place, but can be easily removed by pulling the release tab, located on the left side of the unit. The Panel Dock™ is designed to fit in a standard 6.25" avionics stack, but it can also be flush-mounted anywhere else in the panel. The antenna and power cables slide through prefabricated "keyholes" in the back of the unit, which keeps the connectors from slipping back into the panel when the unit is removed.

The new Ferrari 458 Spider  is to make its UK debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, together with the new Ferrari California. The Ferrari 458 Spider finally bowed in at Frankfurt 2011 – more than two years on from the debut of the 458 Italia – and is going to make its UK debut at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed on 29th June. About time too.

Porsche Panamera revealed at Shanghai Motor Show

Porsche has finally officially revealed the Porsche Panamera at the Shanghai Motor Show As we’ve said before, the Panamera is not the most stunning looking of cars, and is left in the wake of the Aston Martin Rapide in the style department. But it would seem to us that Porsche is going to have another Cayenne-like success on its hands with the Panamera. As with the Cayenne, its looks are criticised, but it does everything else so remarkably well, and has the kudos of the Porsche badge, and it’s hard to see how it will fail.

Hendrick pays $1 million for first 2014 Corvette Stingray convertible

The first 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible sold Friday for $1 million at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Palm Beach, Fla., to car dealer and NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick. Hendrick now has a pair of the seventh-generation Corvette after purchasing the first coupe for $1.05 million in January. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute.
