Seat Tribu concept (2007): first official pictures
Thu, 06 Sep 2007By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 06 September 2007 05:00 That colour is Seat, but that’s not the swooping Seat design I know That’s exactly what Seat wants you to think. This is the first car designed by Luc Donckerwolke and, like the Salsa concept shown in 2000, it previews Seat’s future design direction. And in case you’re already having doubts, just remember that Mr Donckerwolke is the dab hand behind such automotive delights such as the Lamborghini Murcielago and Gallardo.
SEASONAL PRESSURES SEE MARKET SLOW IN JULY
Thu, 10 Oct 2013AUCTION house BCA’s latest Pulse report shows that demand for older, lower value dealer part-exchange cars improved in July, but the fleet and lease sector has experienced more price pressure. The headline average used car value declined in July, as would typically be expected at the onset of the summer holiday months. Values across the board fell to £5,633 down from the £5,662 recorded in June – a £29 decrease that was equivalent to 0.5% fall.
Skoda Octavia Hatch GreenLine arrives offering 88.3mpg – price from £20,150
Mon, 20 Jan 2014Skoda Octavia Hatch GreenLine (pictured) promises 88.3mpg Even though official economy figures from car makers are, at best, disingenuous, they still serve, to a degree, and an indicator of a car’s relative economy. So the arrival of the Skoda Octavia Hatch GreenLine in Skoda’s UK showrooms with official economy figures of 88.3 mpg and emissions of just 85g/km, makes it an appealing offering for cost conscious private and fleet buyers. The Octavia Greenline Hatch looks pretty much the same as any other Octavia, so you won’t be driving a car that shouts ‘I’m a cheapskate’, but you will get extra eco stuff like low rolling resistance tyres on 16″ Velorum alloys to give you the best chance of getting close to the official economy figures.
