Garmin Streetpilot 3 Iii 12 Volt Auto Cigarette Lighter Power Cable With Speaker on 2040-parts.com
Mount Laurel, New Jersey, United States
Please read carefully so there is no misunderstanding. Auction is for 2 sets of the Garmin StreetPilot III Auto power cigarette lighter adapters. This is for parts, repair or hard wiring. The first photo shows both. The speaker pin is broken on the left unit as shown in the 2nd photo. I bought a replacement from Garmin which I sold with my GPS unit. The unit on the right side (1st photo) was used to hardwire it directly into the car. You will notice the speaker/cigarette adapter is missing. 2 wires were hardwired into the car's power and 2 were connected to an external speaker. I had used 2 adapter cables with my Garmin SP unit. One was hardwired and the other was for portable use. I have no use for these cables but if you still own one of these units it will be useful. You could hard wire your unit without destroying a adapter or just move the speaker/lighter adapter to the unit with a good speaker pin. This was used with the Garmin StreetPilot III. Not sure if other Garmin units used the same. |

No Porsche plan for model priced less than Boxster
Thu, 21 Jun 2012Porsche has no plans to sell a car costing less than the Boxster, according to the automaker's head of sales and marketing. "To build a Porsche for 30,000 euros [$37,800 at current exchange rates] currently doesn't fit our brand," Bernhard Maier told the Automotive News Europe Congress in Monaco on Thursday. "The extraordinary purchase experience is not for free and the entry price is currently covered with the Boxster and in the future by the Macan." He said Porsche's plan to double sales won't compromise exclusivity.

Saab enters Court Protection – just as we predicted
Wed, 07 Sep 2011Victor Muller takes Saab in to Court Protection Two weeks ago we reported that Saab were about to seek court protection from its creditors in a bid to buy time until investment from China arrives. And that’s exactly what’s happening. Saab are waiting for investment funding from China – via Pang Da and Youngman – totalling €245 million which should put Saab back on a solvent footing – at least for a while – and allow the beleaguered Swedish car maker to resume production and push on with future plans.
