CHIRP sends a continuous sweep of frequences, ranging from low to high, then interprets them individually on their return. With that information CHIRP sonar technology can create crisper fish arches with greater target separation. You can also upgrade to high-performance Garmin CHIRP technology, which will provide you with crystal clear sonar images with even more remarkable target separation and resolution from shallow to deeper depths. Bottom contours are more visible at higher speeds and signal noise can be suppressed at greater depths to provide you with a more timely interpretation of what's below. Clearest Scanning Sonar on the Water You're able to receive nearly photographic images with Garmin DownVü of what passes 750 feet below your boat. You can clearly see structure, submerged objects and fish. SideVü scanning sonar gives you a crisp, clear view of what lies up to 750 feet off to each side of your boat. High wide CHIRP sonar and both DownVü and SideVü scanning sonars are combined into 1 transducer. Also provides support for Minn Kota® and MotorGuide® trolling motors with integrated transducers. Mark your Map to Easily Find your Fishing Spots STRIKER fishfinders come equipped with a built-in, high-sensitivity GPS for quick and precise pinpointing of your current position and then maintaining your GPS location anywhere you go on the lake. More importantly, mark spots where the fish are biting so you can return to them again in the future. You can also mark boat ramps, docks and other locations on the lake. Just follow the path created on your screen to return to them whenever you wish. Waypoint Map The high-sensitivity GPS n the STRIKER fishfinder allows you to see your position in relation to waypoints you have marked. This means you can use the waypoint map to easily view, mark and navigate to locations such as brush piles, stumps and docks while also being a great to for finding your way back to the boat ramp. Built-in Flasher STRIKER provides you with both a fishfinder and flasher all in one unit. When stationary fishing, such as fishing or jugging for a crappe, the built-in flasher will show you the bottom, whether it is solid or muddy, your jig or weighted bait, and the depth of fish as they swim into the sonar beam. You can even watch how high your jig is being listed and dropped and whether fish move toward or away from it. Check your Speed on Screen With a quick glance at your STRIKER fishfinder screen you are able to quickly and easily monitor your boat's speed, which is a great tool to make sure you are trolling at the right speed for the lure you're using and for a particular fish species. It's also a good way to tell if you are going the right speed in wake-controlled areas. Portable So You Can Take Your Fishfinder With You Also available is a portable kit to carry and protect your STRIKER fishfinder with GPS, making it perfect for kayaking, canoeing or ice fishing. Included is a sealed, rechargeable battery with charger, built-in transducer cable management and suction cup transducer mount and float. |
