Navigate the Open Road

zūmo 450 comes ready to go right out of the box with preloaded City Navigator® NT street maps and a hefty points of interest (POIs) database, including motels, restaurants, fuel, ATMs and more. Simply enter a destination, and zūmo takes you there with turn-by-turn voice directions. In addition, zūmo accepts custom points of interest such as school zones and safety cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs. The 450 also comes with a rechargeable, removable lithium-ion battery for trip planning or use on foot, and even accepts additional maps.

Add Optional Traffic 

To help you stay ahead of traffic , zūmo can receive optional TMC traffic alerts (in select cities) when used with a compatible traffic receiver. Simply press a button on the screen, and zūmo recalculates your route to avoid traffic tie-ups. 

Plan Your Trips and Share Your Rides

zūmo 450 makes it easy to plan your next trip and share routes with your riding buddies. Plan trips on your computer before you start. Search for food and fuel stops and local attractions. Then, transfer your route to zūmo and go. 

At the end of the day, share your favorite places and rides with other zūmo riders and review your travels in Google™ Earth. SD card expansion makes it easy to store data and share routes. Download routes to share with your riding buddies — even load MP3 files to your unit to enjoy tunes on the road. If you’re serious about your gaming – and we mean very serious indeed – then Dutch simulator firm Cruden has just unveiled the last word in driving simulators. The Hexatech is a six-strut hydraulic set-up that’s normally only sold to F1, WRC and NASCAR teams. But it has now decided to unleash it on the public – you just need to find the £120,000 asking price.

The Mito Quadrifoglio Verde – aka Cloverleaf – was shown for the first time at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. It’s the first time we’ve seen the Multiair engine in an Alfa, producing an impressive 168bhp from this 1.4 Multiair to warrant the warm hatch Cloverleaf status.

Peugeot 2008 DKR (pictured) gets 340 bhp turbo diesel to fight the Dakar Rally The days of Peugeot’s motorsport activities being integral to the brand’s identity are long gone, but Peugeot are still playing motorsports with a few headline grabbing projects like Sebastian Loeb’s Pikes Peak car. But Peugeot’s motorsport activities at the moment are extending a bit further than hitting Pikes Peak (and the Goodwood hillclimb) in a monstrous Peugeot 208 T16, and a 2008 to take on the Dakar Rally was revealed back in April. Then, we got to see the Peugeot 2008 DKR in all its Mad Max glory, but Peugeot were being a bit circumspect about what was underneath their Apocalypse-taming Rally Raid Monster.
