Hey Everyone, I am listing my brand-new (never been used/installed, only opened for photos) Garrett Ball Bearing Turbo. Please see below for current specs and description.
It is a Ball bearing turbo good for 950hp!!! NOT a direct drop-in replacement to the Garrett GT or GTX Series turbochargers. External dimensions of the GTW Series bearing housing (CHRA) is physically larger (bulkier) than the Garrett GT and GTX series. DOES NOT use same oil feed and oil return fittings as the Garrett GT or GTX Series turbochargers. If you were to buy this turbo new from the store the list price is $1380.39 This is only the turbo core and housing you will still need the hot side. Saab unable to pay wages as financing crisis deepens
Fri, 24 Jun 2011Saab's money troubles have worsened to the point that the struggling car maker is unable to pay its employees' wages on the eve of the Swedish mid-summer vacation period.In a brief official statement last night, Saab's parent company Swedish Automobile N.V (formerly Spyker Cars) announced that it was 'will be unable to pay the wages to employees as it has not yet obtained the necessary short-term funding.' While Swedish Automobile and Saab continue to pursue options for securing short-term financing to solve the cashflow crisis, the company admitted 'there can however be no assurance that these discussions will be successful or that the necessary funding will be obtained.' Saab share prices tumble, Swedish government will not intervene Reaction to the worsening financial crisis from stakeholders has been predictably bleak. Swedish Automobile's shares dropped 61% in value yesterday, and are currently trading at 0.948 euro. The Swedish government, already guaranteeing a €400m loan to Saab by the European Investment Bank, shows no inclination to bail-out Saab, which employs 3800 staff.

GM preps for new engines, 8-speed transmission
Thu, 04 Apr 2013General Motors is spending $332 million to upgrade powertrain plants in three states to build a new eight-speed automatic transmission, a new V6 and a new family of small-displacement gasoline engines. The plants are in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. GM is also adding $46 million to an earlier $600 million program to upgrade powertrain plants in Saginaw and Romulus, Mich.
