YOU ARE BIDDING ON A BRAND NEW GAS TANK THAT WILL FIT 1968 TO 1971 MG MIDGETS AND 1968 AND 1969 AUSTIN HEALEY SPRITES. THIS TANK HAS NO FITTING FOR THE LATER VAPOR CANISTER TANK AND USES THE LATER SENDING UNIT THAT USES THE CLAMPING RING INSTEAD OF SCREWS. OBVIOUSLY THE TANK COULD BE USED ON OTHER YEAR CARS TOO AS LONG AS THE VAPOR CANISTER IS NOT USED AND THE GAS CAP IS VENTED. THE PAINT ON THE BOTTOM OF TANK HAS DETERIORATED SLIGHTLY FROM SITTING ON THE SHELF AND MAY BE IMPROVED WITH ANOTHER LIGHT COAT. NO RESERVE.

The new McLaren P1 supercar is heading for the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed to make its driving debut in the Supercar run. We’ve also had McLaren F1 new boy Sergio Perez driving the P1 round the Top Gear Dunsfold track and Ron Dennis telling us he got round the Top Gear track in the P1 a good 10 seconds quicker than any other road car ever has. But now we’re actually going to see the McLaren P1 driven in anger.

BMW confirms its hiring of former Opel product chief Frank Weber

BMW AG confirmed it has hired Frank Weber, former head of product planning at General Motors Co.'s Opel/Vauxhall unit. Weber will become head of vehicle architecture and integration at BMW, a spokesman for the premium carmaker told Automotive News Europe today. The spokesman did not give details of when Weber will start at BMW.

And now it looks like Bentley are going to extend their Speed versions from the Continental range to the Mulsanne.
