THIS WAS MOUNTED TO THAT BIKE, THEN IT HAS SAT ON OUR SHELF FOR 18 YEARS. TIME TO WEED-OUT THIS DUSTY STUFF! THESE WERE DESIGNED AS A PROTECTOR, BUT PEOPLE MOSTLY BOUGHT THEM TO DRESS-UP THE BIKE AND ALSO TO COVER A DAMAGED TANK. THESE WERE A UNIQUE LARGE WEAVE CARBON-KEVLAR FIBER AND HAD A SLIGHT GREENISH TINT. THEY LOOKED SIMILAR TO SNAKE SKIN, HENCE THE NAME "PYTHON PROTECTOR" - IT HAS A DENSE FOAM BACKING TO ISOLATE THE COVER FROM THE ALUMINUM TANK, SEE IMAGES WITH THIS STICKER, THIS ONE IS SPECIFICALLY FOR A 1998 TX270, THE 1999 MODEL WAS THE SAME EXCEPT FOR GRAPHICS. NOTE: I ALSO HAVE THESE NOS IN PACKAGE WITHOUT STICKERS (SEE MY OTHER SALES) IF YOU HAVE A 1998 TX 270 THIS IS PERFECT FOR YOU TO COVER THAT DENTED AND UGLY TANK. It’s three years since the Bugatti Galibier first arrived on the scene, since when we’ve had rumour and counter rumour about when, or indeed if, Bugatti’s four-door supercar saloon would go in to production. But the production of the Galibier has never really been in doubt, although it was never likely to happen until the Veyron was on its last knockings.

Fri, 05 Nov 2010The BMW EfficientDynamics is set for production in 2013 Probably the biggest show stopper at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show was the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept, which offered a diesel hybrid setup withn two electric motors, M3 levels of performance and low emissions with 75mpg. In essence, a BMW M1 for the Eco generation. Since BMW revealed their Vision ED other premium car makers have joined the eco-supercar game and announced production of what amount to high-performance hybrids and/or electric cars. Mercedes has confirmed they are working on an SLS AMG E-Cell, with a working prototype already running around.
