The best soldering tools and solder wire
Our soldering irons are the correct tip temp, which is very important in the success of this repair. The solder wire is genuine Kester brand -the highest quality available- and is what is used in most all professional circuit board work.
Other sellers use any soldering iron (with no concern of tip temp), and cheap incorrect solder wire. They've basically copied our idea, but didn't do correctly. That can cause problems, and with them having no experience in this, they can offer no support after.

  DO IT YOURSELF KIT

What you'll get...
  • Instructions w/ full color pictures. Teaches the amateur step by step how to repair their own instrument cluster. (A real full color pamphlet, not a link)
  • Four (4) new x27.168 stepper motors. To repair up to 4 malfunctioning gauges. If you need a kit 6 stepper motors  CLICK HERE
  • One new soldering iron. The correct temp setting and tip for this repair. You'll see how easy soldering is with the correct materials & instructions. The kit will come with a 110/120v iron for USA receptacles (if you need an iron for 220/240v receptacles, message me before purchase)
  • One new solder sucker (desolder pump). Desoldering wick/braid isn't recommended with sensitive PCB
  • A foot of soldering wire -Kester brand. The brand used by professionals
  • Ten cluster lamps/mini bulbs. (pictured in image below) The correct amp draw and voltage. Others are selling generic "grain of wheat" type that are wrong for the application, either too dim or bright, will sometimes flicker and will have a short life.

Fast Shipping...
Your kit will ship the same or following day of payment received.  In most instances, packages going to US locations will be delivered in 3 business days. (HI, PR, AK, APO and FPO times in transit will be considerably longer, as will international packages shipped outside of the US)

The advantages of this kit...
-You save money -lots. Dealerships are charging between $400 and $700 to do this repair.
-Your car won't be down while you're waiting for the dealership or someone else to do this easy fix.
-You won't need to ship your cluster across the country, risking damage in transit. Removing the cluster is most of the work, don't pay someone else to do the easier part of the repair.

What you should know...

Others are selling the previous version - defective motors or China made knockoffs that they falsely claim to be superior... or  even worse, imitations that are all prone to fail.  We're the only seller with the latest updated steppers motors, by Juken (the original equipment manufacturer / we'll provide proof of authenticity on request). Juken the only manufacturer trusted/used in new car production by Ford, BMW, GM and others. Juken's also used exclusively by all authorized Delphi repair facilities. Get the right stuff, and do it only once. These are the real McCoys.

Audi TT Coupe 1.8 TFSI launches as entry-level TT

Thu, 13 Oct 2011

The new entry-level Audi TT Coupe 1.8 TFSI We wonder if Audi is starting to feel a bit of pain from Peugeot’s RCZ? If it is, that would explain the decision to introduce a new entry-level Audi TT starting at just £24,070 – the  Audi TT Coupe 1.8 TFSI. The TT Coupe now gets the option of the entry-level engine already found in the TT Roadster, which means that once again you can get a TT Coupe for less than the entry-level TT Roadster.

2013 Mercedes E Class Facelift: The Video

Sat, 15 Dec 2012

We have the first video of the 2013 Mercedes E Class facelift showing the changes Mercedes has made more clearly. Not just the usual nip and tuck you’d expect in a mid-cycle facelift, but real sheet metal changes and proper upgrades as well as the usual lights and bumpers stuff. But however many photos we publish of the 2013 E Class, nothing really gives you a feel for the changes until you see them in the flesh or on the move.

2012 Honda Civic 2.2-litre i-DTEC with just 110g/km CO2

Fri, 12 Aug 2011

2012 Honda Civic - cleaner, greener, more powerful & more economical Honda are taking the launch of the new Civic for 2012  properly seriously, and looking to make it a properly good alternative to stuff like the Focus and Golf. That means the 2012 Honda Civic is going to have to handle properly as well as being very well put together. And on that score Honda are promising improved ride and handling for the 2012 Civic (despite a less than cutting-edge suspension at the back) and say it will be more stable and precise. Which all sounds good.
