Gazer BA400 blind spot monitor system allows keeping all the blind spots around the car in check and promptly alerts the driver about imminent danger. System has 4 special ultrasound sensors mounted on the vehicle's front and rear bumpers. The sensors monitor blind spots around the car within the radius of up to 3-meters. System includes a compact sensor signals processing unit that uses an intelligent algorithm with efficient false alarm protection. This unit can identify the type of an obstacle caught in the blind spot simultaneously ignoring all other objects that do not pose any potential collision danger, e.g., road trains, guard rails, vehicles driving in parallel traffic, etc. When an object is detected in the blind spot area, Gazer BA400 uses sound alerts, on-screen graphical alerts, and signals from 2 LED lights mounted inside the vehicle to warn the driver about the potential danger. The operating range of ultrasound sensors consists of 3 zones with each corresponding to a certain distance separating the obstacle from the vehicle. The type of alerts changes automatically depending on the area where the obstacle has been detected: as the vehicle gets closer to a dangerous object, the type of alert signals changes accordingly.

SPECIFICATIONS

• Full observability of blind spots of up to 3 meters in radius due to the special ultrasound sensors mounted on the vehicle's front and rear bumpers. This allows spotting objects in the invisible area even in the "second next" lane thus enabling the driver to notice obstacles when turning, changing lanes or performing other maneuvers.

• 2 special LED indicators are designed for visual alerting about a potential danger. The light alerting system will help the driver avoid accidents when changing lanes: if the turn signal is on and the system detects a dangerous object close by, a corresponding indicator (right or left) will start blinking.
• For sound and graphical danger alerting, Gazer BA400 has a multifunctional color LCD display with a built-in speaker. The color of graphical alerts changes depending on the distance separating the car from the obstacle. The type of sound alerts also corresponds to a certain distance to a dangerous object: as the vehicle gets closer to an obstacle, the type of alert signals changes accordingly.
