evCHARGEsolutions-com) will supply the charging station infrastructure to support this industry change. The DuraStation’s design is suitable for various locations. This product offers Level II charging, which is capable of reducing charge time from 12-18 hours to 4-8 hours, with service needs of 208-240VAC at 40A, assuming a 24kWh battery and a full-cycle charge. GE has more than 100 years of experience in the design and manufacture of electrical distribution products and, as a result, can supply all necessary upstream infrastructure.

IAM Launches Assessment To Help Older Drivers
Thu, 26 Jun 2014THE Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) is launching its Mature Driver’s Assessment – a way for older drivers to gain a trusted second opinion on their driving - and is available for motorists aged over 70. It consists of a 60 minute driving assessment, including advice on what action to take after the assessment. With the IAM keen to stress that the evaluation is not a formal test, the 60-minute drive with an IAM-approved assessor allows candidates to drive in their own vehicle taking routes that they are familiar with.
Jaguar XJ & XF get 4WD
Thu, 16 Aug 2012Jaguar has announced that four wheel drive versions of the Jaguar XJ and Jaguar XF will be available – but not in the UK. Jaguar has long bemoaned the lack of a 4WD platform for their cars, and even blamed such a lack of flexibility for the delay in launching the XF Sportbrake. We’ve been expecting Jaguar to reveal a 4WD version of the XJ for a while (especially as the new Range Rover utilises the same platform) but we didn’t expect a 4WD XF until the next generation XF launches in a couple of years.
