CAR Most Wanted of 2014: Lamborghini Huracan
Thu, 09 Jan 2014By the CAR editorial team First Official Pictures 09 January 2014 12:50 The Lamborghini Huracan has one hell of a mission ahead of it. Not only must it follow the hardest act in Lambo’s history – its most successful car ever, in the shape of the Gallardo – but it must do battle in an arena teeming with high-tech supercars. The Huracan will compete for bedroom wall real estate – and for £175k exotica buyers – with rivals like the Ferrari 458 Italia, McLaren 12C, Porsche 911 Turbo S and the new Honda NSX hybrid.
Lamborghini Huracan (2014) first official pictures
Fri, 20 Dec 2013By Damion Smy First Official Pictures 20 December 2013 08:00 Say hello to the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 – the replacement for the best-selling Lambo in history, the Gallardo. The new supercar’s brooding looks pack a more potent 601bhp V10 and Lamborghini’s first dual-clutch transmission into a lighter package that’ll eat the old Gallardo for breakfast… Loads – starting with the name. While rumours that the Gallardo replacement was to be called the ‘Cabrera’ (Spanish for ‘goat herder’ apparently) proved false, the new sports car at least follows the tradition of being named after a bull.
Spies Given Green Light To Speed
Mon, 13 Jan 2014IF YOU’RE familiar with James Bond’s antics you’ll know that he didn’t much care for rules and regulations. Now there’s one less bit of red tape for all fictional and real James Bonds, as spies are to be given a "licence to speed" for the first time, under changes to motoring laws. Currently, officers in MI5 and MI6 have to abide by the rules of the road even when national security is under threat.
