This auction is for a Gear Vendors Over/Under Drive 2-speed Transmission.  Comes with everything shown above, including the unit and housing, wiring and control switches, owners manual, electronics diagram, "one sheet" installation instructions, 5 extra gaskets of various sizes, 2-23 fl. oz. bottles of GM axle lubricant #1052271 (which is the kind specified as needed on the owner's manual), application guide, Gear Vendors brochure, VHS tape and 3 Gear Vendors stickers.

The owner's manual shows the Model # to be 3D0E40.  I tried to get a good picture of numbers stamped on the plate, but I had a hard time getting that in focus.  The numbers on the plate are 28 119232005515.

This came off my late father's 1999 F-550, and it only had about 10,000 miles on it.  It was professionally installed by Gear Vendors.  To the best of our knowledge, it has everything you will need and works perfect.  We plan to take it to a UPS store to have it professionally packaged for shipping.

Payment requested via PayPal within 2 days after end of auction.  Buy It Now requires immediate payment.  Shipping to the continental US only.

If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a note.

Ken Block to campaign a Ford Focus next season in WRC

Wed, 06 Jan 2010

Ken Block has forsaken Subaru and will campaign a Ford Focus next season in the World Rally Championship and a Fiesta in Rally America and the X Games. This is an impressive addition for Ford's rallying efforts internationally. The Blue Oval has won three WRC titles, but an American has never run a full season in the grueling series.

Film Friday: Auburn Speedster tackles the Bonneville Salt Flats

Fri, 25 Apr 2014

Inspired by a recent trip to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum in Auburn, Ind. (more to come on that soon!), we're diving into the historical film archives for some A-C-D goodness. And it doesn't really get any better than vintage footage of the classic Auburn 851 Boattail Speedster tearing up the Bonneville Salt Flats circa 1935 followed by a demonstration of the big Duesenberg streamliner, “The Mormon Meteor” thundering across the lake bed.

A Very Merry Red Bull Christmas

Sat, 25 Dec 2010

Red Bull’s 2010 Christmas Card Over the last couple of years we’ve featured Bernie Ecclestone’s Christmas Cards as our Christmas Day greeting to readers, as they’ve been by far the most amusing to come our way. In 2008 we saw Bernie’s Christmas card feature a mickey-take of Max Mosley and his extra cirruclar activities amongst the more ‘forceful’ working girls in London town. We followed that up in 2009 with Bernie’s Christmas card once again, this time featuring a mickey-take of his sometime business partner Flavio Briatore as a pirate.
