For sale I have a complete set of seat Belt Assemblies for the front seats of a 4 seat GEM (Global Electric Motors, NEV, Think, Polaris) electric car with bucket seats.  These are "lap" belts for the drivers and passenger sides of the vehicle and will fit a 1998-2002 and possibly newer vehicles.   I have taken the "clip" arms off of the unit for more cost effective shipping and the bolts to reattach are on the bars...simple to mount. The canvas belt strapping is in good working condition-no rips/tares or cuts, the belts pull and retract, the tip of the "release" button is sun faded but works correctly. The metal bars are straight, no dents, dings or stress cracks and has minor surface scratches. Any questions, please ask, I am very happy to help in any way.  Thank you for your interest in my item.

A tribute to Ermanno Cressoni

Last week the car design community suffered a great loss. Ermanno Cressoni or 'Arch' as many of his designers affectionately referred to him, passed away on Thursday 30th June in Milan after battling with cancer for 13 months.'Arch' was a reference in car design and his contribution to our profession was much more important than stated in the press. As Alfa Romeo Centro Stile Director he directed the Alfetta berlina, the famous chrome GTV grille from the early seventies is attributed to him, as is the Giuglietta sedan of the late seventies, the Alfa 33, the 75, and many of the racing Alfas we adore from the late 60s and early 70s.

Interior of the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari which is heading for Frankfurt Fiat say that the Tributo Ferrari is distinguished by substantial modifications that have been developed by Abarth and Ferrari. Most substantial of these is probably the 1.4 litre turbo, which has been tweaked to give over 180bhp. But the revisions all round are quite a bit more than a cosmetic job to create a cheap baby Ferrari.
