For sale I have a 72-12 Volt converter circuit board for early model GEM electric cars (Global Electric Motors, NEV, Think, Polaris).    Please check the configuration of the board with your existing circuit board to insure you are ordering the right part-we are finding many vehicles have had alterations.  If this does not match your configuration, I have another board listed.  This measures approximately: 6" long, 3.5" wide and 3/4" from the surface of the board to the bottom of the mounting plate. There are two minor issues with the board...one piece of where the large pins connect a piece of the plastic is missing-this will not affect the operation of the board.  Second, there is a patch of white "putty" material on the main blue coil, again it does not affect the operation of the board. This came from a working vehicle, we had no way of testing this board but believe since the vehicle was working it is in working order.  We stand behind all of our items, if you find that this is not working, email us and we will refund your money and you can return the board to  us.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask, we are happy to help.  Thank you for your interest.

We work very hard to provide quality used factory parts to keep your car running and would appreciate positive feedback when you have the time.

Please check my "sellers" feedback of GEM car parts, I think you will find everyone that has purchased a GEM car part has been pleasantly pleased with the value, condition and fast shipping.

We have almost any part you may need for your GEM car, we don't list some that are too big to ship, or too small to bother with, but if you need it, we would consider shipping it. Please check my listings or send me an email and I will list the item immediately if I have it.

Local pickup also available with no fees.

If I can help with any question, please do not hesitate to ask.

2014 Nissan Leaf pricing announced

Thu, 09 Jan 2014

Nissan has announced pricing for its pure-electric Leaf, which seems to be growing more popular by the hour. This time last year Nissan slashed the price of the Leaf by a whopping $6,000, sending into the sub-$30K territory, and for 2014 the price and equipment list has barely changed. The Leaf's driving range remains at 84 miles on a full charge, and the mpg-equivalent ratings stay at 126 mpge in the city and 101 mpge on the highway, for a combined rating of 114.

Electric Fiat 500e costs the same as 500 Pop – in the US

Sat, 13 Apr 2013

Sergio Marchionne reckoned Fiat would lose £7k on every 500e they sell, but that may be a very conservative estimate judging by the deal Fiat has put together for the 500e in California, where it’s just launched. For a very modest down-payment of £650 and then £130 a month, you can drive off in a brand new Fiat 500e. That’s exactly the same deal Fiat offers on the 500 Pop – a car that cost under £10k in the UK – making the 500e the first EV we’ve come across where costs are sensible.

Volkswagen hits back, weighs making a bid for Porsche

Thu, 23 Apr 2009

Volkswagen is considering an audacious reverse-takeover bid for its majority shareholder, Porsche, in a twist in the drawn-out struggle for control between the two German carmakers. The Volkswagen Group's supervisory board is said to be weighing the possibility of purchasing Porsche AG, in a move that would relieve its holding company, Porsche SE, of massive debt that industry analysts suggest the company may not be able to fund should the world's financial crisis drag on well into 2010--a scenario put forward this week by the International Monetary Fund. The secret plan emerged as shareholders were set to convene at Volkswagen's annual meeting on Thursday, and it comes after Porsche revealed that it is carrying some 9 billion euros ($11.73 billion) in debt, most of it owing to interest on loans taken out to purchase its 50.8 percent stake in VW.
