For sale I have a complete set of lap seat Belt Assemblies for the front seats of a  4 seat, bucket style GEM electric car (Global Electric Motors/Polaris/NEV/Think) and will fit a 1998-2002 and possibly newer vehicles.  I have taken the "clip" arms off of the unit for more cost effective shipping and the bolts to reattach are on the bars...simple to mount. The canvas belt strapping is in excellent condition-no rips/tares or cuts, the belts pull and retract easily, the tip of the "release" button is sun faded but works correctly and the cover base has had a light coat of paint added to it to make it cosmetically more appealing.  The metal bars are strong, straight, no dents, dings or stress cracks and has minor surface scratches and some pitting-see photos. Any questions, please ask, I am very happy to help in any way.  Thank you for your interest in my item.

Please check my recent "sellers" feedback of GEM car parts, I think you will find everyone that has purchased a GEM car part has been please with the value, condition and fast shipping.  We work very hard to provide quality, clean, working used factory parts.

Please bid with confidence, since 1999 I have received consistently 100% feedback comments for over 1,500 transactions.  My goal is to make my buyer happy with their purchase.

I am also listing several other GEM car parts over the next couple of weeks.  Please keep checking my site for new listings.  If you are in need of a specific part, please send me an inquiry.  If we have it, I will list it immediately for you.

Shipping is for the contiguous 48 states, any additional would be the responsibility of the buyer for exact additional cost.

Local pick up is available with no fees.

If I can help with any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

If for any reason I have not described this item accurately,
                                                    I will refund your money.

Citroën designers: Design students have 'golden opportunity'

Fri, 25 Jan 2013

Today's car design students "have got a fantastic opportunity in a very different world," say Citroën designers. Though the automotive industry has been suffering in many regions in the current economic climate, the next generation of car designers "have got a fantastic opportunity," says Andrew Cowell, Senior Design Manager at Citroën, in conversation with Car Design News at the Royal College of Art, London. "The industry will evolve quite a lot, and these guys (the students on the postgraduate Vehicle Design course) will come out into a very different world." "They'll start in a very interesting period", says Alexandre Malval, Citroën Design Director and himself a graduate from the RCA course.

Jaguar C-X75 Hybrid Supercar back in the spotlight

Jaguar release new photos of the C-X75 Supercar A few days ago we heard that the hybrid underpinnings of the canned Jaguar C-X75 were going to find their way in to the F-Type to produce a 700bhp monster. We had our doubts about that, but it does seem clear that Jaguar are not going to let the C-X75 just disappear in to oblivion. For reasons probably known only to Jaguar, they’ve suddenly decided to release a new set of photos (above) of the very good looking C-X75 in a fetching shade of blue – a better look than the pale metallic paint job on all the photos we’ve seen so far – despite the project being shelved.
