Audi is expected to reveal a 230hp quattro S1 at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The hot version of its A1 city car will be powered by the turbocharged 2.0-litre engine used in the Audi S3, and come with four-wheel drive as standard. Chris Bangle – the undisputed front man of car design – needs little introduction, so the prospect of the former BMW Design Director and now founder of Chris Bangle Associates giving a talk in our home town of London was too good to pass up.
