Fiat 500L Trekking goes on sale: Price from £17,095
Tue, 25 Jun 2013The Fiat 500L Trekkiing (pictured) is now on sale in the UK The Fiat 500L – Fiat’s 500 on steroids – went on sale back in December (and we’ve also had the 7-seat 500L MPW revealed), and now we get the rufty-tufty version of the 500L – the Fiat 500L Trekking – arriving in the UK, and costing from £17,095, just £700 more than the equivalent 500L without the butch bits. The 500L Trekking comes with Fiat’s Traction+, a clever traction technology that gives the 500L more grip on slippery surfaces, more rugged front and back treatments, bits of black plastic cladding and a set of 17″ alloys to make it look more suited to the boot sale car park than the regular 500L. Specification is based on the 500L Lounge – which means stuff like 5″ Touchscreen, Bluetooth, Hil Hold, electric door mirrors, Cruise, Climate, auto lights and wipers, electric windows and front fogs all come in the price.
Chevrolet Aveo RS Concept revealed
Fri, 08 Jan 2010The Chevrolet Aveo RS Concept will appear at the Detroit Motor Show It really does say something about the changing car landscape in the US that the reveal of a US hot hatch is something that people are sitting up and taking notice of. True, it may be badged a Chevy but this is a Daewoo Chevy, not a gas-guzzling big V8 Chevy. Still, never mind.
BMW Z4M? Sorry, it’s the Z4 M-Sport
Sat, 19 Sep 2009BMW are testing a Z4 with an M-Sport package round the Nurburgring I suppose that at least this way you can have a Z4 that looks the part- with bigger wheels and bumpers and maybe even a suspension tweak or three – without having to bother with the big price ticket or the not inconsiderable running costs. To be fair, the Z4 sDrive35i is not particularly slow. It will manage to get to 60 mph in around 5.0 seconds; handles well and looks so much better than the Z3 did.
